I interned as a front-end engineer for Mercari Hallo at Mercari, Inc. It was an honor to participate right at the 1-year anniversary of its launch. Compared to my previous experiences with hackathons and short-term internships, this allowed me to learn skills that are more in demand in professional practice.

Industry-Academia Collaboration
I'm working on an industry-academia collaboration with Mapbox Japan LLC. We're developing a new platform web application that embeds location information in documents to integrate with Mapbox maps.
Google Developer Group DevFest Tokyo 2024

GDG DevFest Tokyo is a developer event where you can learn the latest information and practical know-how about Google technologies. As a student speaker, I was responsible for a session on 'Building and Utilizing ChatBots for Q&A with Google Technology and RAG'.
Geek-Ten 2024
Hackathon
Geek-Ten is Japan's largest pitch contest for aspiring student engineers, designed to promote output. I participated with a team of four people who all attended different universities and whom I met at a hackathon. We advanced to the finals and got to present at TOKYO NODE HALL, which was an incredibly valuable experience.

Kiei Inc. is a student-founded startup providing custom AI solution development. I worked as the lead developer on two PoC projects. In the first project, I developed an AI chatbot that reproduces a specific person's phrasing and knowledge. In the second project, I was responsible for developing a matching platform between students and companies for a client in the human resources industry.
Mercari AI/LLM Hackathon

I participated in a hackathon hosted by Mercari Inc. The theme was 'Update Mercari's products and features using generative AI/LLM,' and we developed new features for the existing flea market app. Our team consisted of five people: three engineers, one UI/UX designer, and one prompt designer.
LayerX Inc.
Intern
I participated in LayerX's first-ever summer internship for software engineers. The first half consisted of lectures on LayerX's core values and full-stack development explanations, while the second half involved team development in a hackathon-like format where we applied what we learned through practical output.

I independently developed and participated with an online web game where players guess answers to each other's questions. People who played it at the venue gave feedback like 'It creates communication between people!' and 'I thought this would definitely be exciting to play with friends!' The judges appreciated the UI/UX utilizing generative AI, and I received the grand prize.

Michibiku Group is a startup founded by students. I developed a recruitment scouting support service utilizing generative AI, implemented RPA for business automation, and built workflows with Dify.

I worked on 'mazucoco', a web service portal site for contracted clients. Development proceeded with a team structure utilizing test-driven development and pair programming.

42Tokyo is an engineer training institute originating from France. During the entrance examination called 'Piscine', I spent an average of 11 hours daily for 4 weeks tackling challenges using C language. I was surprised by my own dedication to the exam, which reaffirmed my aptitude for engineering.

AINOW is Japan's largest AI-focused media platform operated by dip Corporation. As a writer and director, I conducted SEO analysis and implemented prompt engineering to optimize article writing efficiency. I started working here as a freshman because I wanted to learn while working.

Tokyo International University of Technology is Japan's first 'Professional University of Technology' established in April 2020. It's a four-year private university, not a technical college. Key features include mandatory internships to gain practical development experience and its campus location in Cocoon Tower at Shinjuku West Gate.
